Set the ground rules together
BikeLock makes your family’s rules about phone use while cycling concrete. Together, you choose which apps lock during a ride and which stay available.
In the app you can see afterwards during which rides BikeLock was active. That gives you insight into how the agreements hold up in practice, and a reason to keep talking about them together.
The best way to resist temptation is to remove the trigger.

The apps you selected together become unavailable. Calls, navigation and music, for example, can stay available.
Everything unlocks on arrival
The apps become available again. After the ride, BikeLock shows when cycling mode was active.

Notifications, messages and phone calls still come through.
Locking an app does not silence the phone. Use Focus mode for that.
Focus mode solves a different problem.
Focus silences incoming messages. BikeLock also blocks the apps your child might reach for out of habit.
